CSR & foundations

Mental health, where it’s hardest to find.

Through CSR partnerships, we bring sustained, specialist care to Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural India, the places the for-profit system does not reach. We work as the technical care partner alongside implementing NGOs.

Two flagship projects

Work already on the ground.

On both programmes Emoneeds is the technical care delivery partner. The implementing NGOs lead on-ground delivery and funder relationships.

ActiveDove Foundation, implementing NGO. NTPC CSR-funded.
Project Saathi

Digital mental-health rehabilitation for chronic and serious mental illness across Tier-2, Tier-3, and rural Uttar Pradesh. A complementary extension of the Government of India's Tele-MANAS programme, with a referral pathway into long-term, structured care. It targets the underserved: BPL, SC and ST communities, women, and adolescents.

Project Manas

Technology-driven telepsychiatry for semi-urban and rural India. It reached more than 10,000 individuals through awareness, supported over 2,500 patients directly, and took 432 referrals via NGO partners (Chetnalaya, Adharshila, Salaam Baalak Trust). Reach extended to Arunachal Pradesh, Leh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, with integrated care for NephroPlus dialysis patients, a referral system at RML Hospital, and three research studies.

What we do

Three pillars, start to finish.

Community engagement

Camps, stigma reduction, screening, and Tele-MANAS triage, so people first hear that help exists, and that it is for them.

Digital rehabilitation

Tele-psychiatry, tele-psychotherapy, daily tele-monitoring calls, monthly family sessions, weekly webinars, CRT, and SST. A dedicated psychiatrist, psychologist, and counsellor per patient.

Impact & research

Data dashboards, peer-reviewed studies, and third-party impact assessment, so the work is measured and can be published.

Impact

Reach that holds up to a board.

Our outcome thesis

With sustained, home-based care, relapse in chronic cases can fall from 35 to 40 percent toward around 5 percent. We hold this as a goal, not a guarantee. Project Saathi targets around 1,000 comprehensive-treatment patients and 3,500 OPD consultations.
