She has done a PhD in Psychology. A Rehabilitation Psychologist having work experience of 15 years , she has worked in various NGOs working in the field of Mental Health. She has worked as Resource Person under Sarva Shsiskha Abhiyan and trained doctors, ANMs and anganwadi workers on early identification of developmental disabilities. As Consultant for UNICEF she helped create Operational Guidelines for Adolescent Health Centers. Presently as part of ‘Team Tulasi’ she is coordinating the ONGC Tele Counseling initiative.
